Dr Fog
Went to Dr Fog in Searcy, Arkansas today. Arrived at 8am. They took out and defogged all the windows, including the drivers window in 1 day (11 windows). Coach looks a whole lot different. Rest of the week, they are going to do some body work (had an argument with a boulder, boulder won). We are hooked up at their facility for the night. Full hook ups.

What happened to the windows that they would have become fogged? Other than condensation I've never heard of such a thing.

We just bought a 1999 Mountain Aire and the seals are separating between the panes in some of the windows, no fog yet, but it is obvious there will be. Is this something he can fix without the need to replace the windows?

We hadn't heard of it either, until it happened to the coach. Researched, and found it was a common problem. There are several window repair facilities in the USA. Dr Fog constantly receives high marks. Can see why. Rebuilding is less than half the cost of replacing.

Suncoast Designers (Fogged Windows)
I'll add this here for info in case folks are closer to Florida. Just another data point.
We went Hudson Fla and SuncoastDesigners.com. We had an appointment and it was a good thing because there were 23 motor homes in the lot of many makes and ages. They provide 50 amp and water at the coach and a dump on the exit road.
They said the techs would be there at 0630 and they were, to the second. We wanted the cockpit windows fixed. Almost all of ours are fogged but we'll start with these. They removed them in minutes and sealed the opening with plastic covered cardboard. They offered a tour of the plant at 1300 and it was interesting. Thur and Fri AM all the action was in the plant. At about 1330 Fri the techs came out and reinstalled the windows. I have mirrors! I can see!
Every single person was as nice and professional as they could be. This time of the year they are slammed. Coaches with lots of windows can expect to stay a week. They said in Sept or so they can do many windows and have you out in a day, maybe 2.
Cost. We had the driver's window (3 panes) and the passenger window (2 panes) replaced. Our were not etched and could be cleaned. The cost was $617.93 out the door. Life time warranty.
The normal cost (some brands like Tiffin have more expensive windows) is: $250/window (frame) regardless of size. Drivers window (frame) is $300. If they are etched and cannot be cleaned, the cost is $75....per PIECE of glass that is etched. One window, is 2 pieces. One or both may be etched. They don't know if they are etched until they are taken apart and cleaned. So, on a 40X, the passenger window frame has 4 pieces of glass, not 2.
We are very happy with Suncoast. Hope this is informative for those with fogged windows.

We left a rally in Salem and headed over and stayed at Cascade Meadows RV Park. Dave lives about 2mi away, got there around 9am and he had another guy working with him out by 7pm. The only ones he did not do were the door and drivers window. Dave did my drivers window 2 years before. !0 windows total.
