drivers side slide creeps out when driving
I checked the slides to make sure they were all in noticed the drivers side wasn't it was still out a couple inches. had my husband redo and it went in. When we got to the camp ground it was out about 2 inches. We will be heading out this morning and not sure if I should call Tiffin or just see if it was a fluke.

First, you should post your year and model of coach.
Second, you should identify specifically which slide, some are hydraulic and some are electric.
Off hand, it sounds like it's a hydraulic slide problem, where one of the solenoids is leaking internally.
You can get around travel problem, by putting a proper length cut 2x4 inside, which would keep the slide from being able to creep out.

the extend solenoid for that slide is leaking internally, unless you can find an external leak.
anyway, the solution is to check the solenoid to make sure its closed properly.
hit the retract button for five seconds and release it. watch the room to see if it extends. if so, replace the solenoid.
on the slide room manifold, the connectors have a small tag on each one, if this is the room right behind the drivers seat, its room #1.
the tag will be marked cyl#1 ext
this manifold can be on the pump. or a remote manifold, or it may be on the end of the sync cylinder. check with tiffin to see which you have.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
I've heard of that happening but don't know what the solution was.
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I had a similar problem years ago on a Everest 5th wheel trailer, the hyd slides would slowly come out over time and got worse to where they would come out a foot or more even with the individual valves manually closed. The problem was the internal seals in the hyd. rams were leaking. They had to remove the rams and disassemble the rams to replace the seals. All was great after that.. I should mention that it was a lippert system and they called there tech line to find the test procedures to isolate where the leak in the system was.

It could be a simple piece of dirt or something foreign got on the seat, Take slide out to end and hold button for few seconds and retract and do the same, do it a couple of time. If it doesn't solve problem a replacement solenoid valve replacement is a supper easy fix. It has o-ring seal and can be done with your hand . and unplug and replug and you done.
