Driving lessons / schools?

Hubby and I just put our deposit down on a Ventana Le 40 ft coach. This is our first EVER RV (yes we like Trials by Fire lol!)

In that vein, we would like to take some driving lessons to get used to a vehicle of this size. Any recommendations? If possible we would like to do a few lessons before we get our coach (scheduled for late February) just to make the drive off the lot a bit more comfortable ha!!

We live in southern Wisconsin, so anything from Milwaukee to Chicago to Minneapolis would be within range for us to travel to to take lessons for a day or two...

Thanks all!!!

We took a class at Lazy Days in Tampa. This same class, I believe, is loaded onto youtube. It gives some good hints and tricks and tell you how to use stickers to navigate. Coach length not really an issue. I'm not sure what you can find locally but look for the course on youtube.

or... Let me search for it and find it for you.

I contacted the local schools and found a driver trainer that was willing to help me. Of course i already had my coach.
Another thought is to go back to the dealer and convince them it is in their best interest to help you.

We were going to do it but we found i think it was RV School or something similar was so expensive we decided not to do it. We haven't regretted it and we have gone slow and been fine. We are fairly comfortable now.

Another vote for RV Driving school. When we picked up our Coach, largest thing I had driven was a few 5 ton trucks on road, and a dump truck off road. Was a " learning experience " for sure, but all has gone well for last 36,000 miles !
Wife wanted to learn to drive in case of emergency, so we signed up for RV Driving school in Arizona.
Great, patient instructor had her backing up and driving narrow roads in a few hours. Worth the $$
Even got a decent discount on our MH Insurance when we provided her certificate.
