Dropdown bunk blocks fire exit

I just can't imaging how these newer Class A DP Motorhomes with the drop down bunk over drivers seats/front door is not a huge safety issue? In the event of a fire, you would be fighting to duck underneath it and around copilot chair to exit out the front door. You could however take your chance of breaking your arms or legs going out the rear window fire exit.

Also wouldn't it slow down fire fighter from getting in to pull people out of a fire? I just don't see this as a good idea for the industry to be building.

Please voice your concerns the RVIA standards division.
That is the only way to make your thoughts known to MH mfgrs.

It's still a lot bigger escape opening than a window in a coach. To me, this is a non-issue.
