It is also not an energy hog. It does not have an ice maker or a water dispenser.
Well followingsea,
Yes Sir, you did get lucky. Yours can not only run on a MSW inverter but, when I looked yours up and checked the clearances for installation, it states:
Sides: 1"
Top : 1"
Back : 2"

Now, your manual for that Hotpoint also states:
"This refrigerator is designed for
freestanding installation only. It should not be
recessed or built-in an enclosed cabinet. To ensure
your refrigerator works at optimum efficiency, you
should install it in a location where there is proper air
circulation, and electrical connections.

I think ours is supposed to have 5" on the sides and forgot what for rear clearances. Oh well, I'll run it 'till it dies. Then I'll hunt for another one that will fit and work in that space provided. Nice choice Sir. Hope it works for a long time.
Scott

I did consider ventilation. A propane fridge has plenty of ventilation. After not having any problems, I sealed the roof and side vents. Still no problem in either hot weather or cold although I do not dry camp where it is miserable.

Another document is the energy guide. You want to look for an efficient fridge.
