In one RV, we used a tension shower curtain rod. Just tightened it enough to hold the weight without messing up the walls. In another, DH installed some u-brackets on opposing walls & cut to fit a dowel rod to go in them.

My 2008 Bounder came with a rod mounted across the center of the shower front to back for that purpose. DW uses it every trip.

3D printed a saddle that rides in top of the shower stall...it holds a piece of galvanized conduit cut to fit. Supports all of my wifes blouses to dry...and she isn't looking for the swiffer anymore. (She used to prop the swiffer handle across the top of the shower)

I put in two heavy duty Command Hooks in the shower, cut a dowel rod and PVC pipe to cover the dowel, added a eye hook in each end of the dowel and a short cord to hang it over the Command Hooks. We hang all types on things the rod to dry. Works well for us.

We use a curtain rod, the type you would use to hang sheers on in a house, diagonally across the top of the shower. It’s easy to reposition, strong enough to hang two wet bath sheets from and cheap.

You can get adjustable rods in a couple sizes. One is short to fit a narrow shower stall vs long for a tub enclosure.
W rubber ends that don't mark wall and stay in place well but still allow moving out of the way when not needed.

Most shower rods are adjustable these days. They also have padded feet. Just find one that will fit and twist it to tighten in place. Easy up and easy down. We use one for towels to dry on.
