In addition to solid metal valve stems for dually tires, I'd recommend that you add a good TPMS to all of your RV tires (and preferably your TOAD tires, as well)

Fred and Bonnie,

The only notification you get will be a visual indicator at the tire itself.

Check out the crossfire website for any particulars.

Here is another Dually TPMS

The only indication of pressure is at the wheel so I added a flow through sensor for my TPSM on the stem.

This way I can see the pressure at a glance as I do my morning walk around and see the pressure on my dash display as I drive.

I did have a problem using the mounts provided with the Crossfire units. They supplied two versions. One required I remove a lug nut and I have no way to do that without a trip to the tire store and the other was covered by the chrome hub covers. I solved the problem by drilling a hole in the chrome cover and attaching the Crossfire through the hole.

Note how easy it is to add air. The valve cap is to the lower right of the Crossfire unit sticking straight toward the camera.

Also note the pressure indication. The bar is partially black and partially yellow. Full yellow is 105. This tire is cold and is currently about 100 lbs. Not enough to worry, but needs some air.

Yes my wheel is dirty,... and I am standing on my head:-)

Stop at a truck tire shop and pick up a gator for each tire. I got mine for a dollar apiece. They are a metal valve cap that let you check and inflate the tire without removing them.
