Duracell AGM Golf Car Battery - Group Size GC2

I did a web search and found these at Sam's Club, but apparently none of the stores in Texas carry these batteries. Is there anywhere else in Texas you can buy them?

Dennis,

Last year was the end of my boat work that has been dying with the depression. I ordered some AGMs for that build from a company called http://www.powerstridebattery.com They have a few GC2-AGMs and are very easy to deal with.
I have bought a number of Lifeline and other AGM, but no Duracell. So I can't tell you about any difference.

Not sure why they are not available in Texas but if you come to Las Cruces, NM, our Sam's club has them in stock. We are only 50 miles from El Paso.

Yeah, I'm only 600 miles from El Paso!

I found them at the local Batteries+. Local Sams Club might have them, but their website says they don't stock them at any location in Dallas, Austin or San Antonio.

Batteries plus Bulbs carry the Duracell brand. They are made by East Penn outside of Philadelphia, Pa. They may not be available west of civilization.

Sorry, I got sent off to digital waste land. Last post contained a joke so here;
I wanted to point that I bought Duracell from Batteries plus Bulbs at the same price as Sam's Club, but with no membership fee.

For those that have installed the Duracell AGM's-- how has the service been so far ?
I need new house batteries and am thinking of ditching the wet cells and going with AGM. The Sam's Club Duracell's so far have the best price I've found

Both Sam's and Costo have some items that are "Special Order".

If you can not get 'em in Texas.. EIther it is because the stores there refuse to carry them or.. The Manufacturer is ticked off at Texas and won't ship. Try Oklahoma

I have 3 8D AGMs in a boat made by East Penn - same as Sams Duracells
going on 5 yrs now and very pleased w value.

I recently replaced a CR-V Toad batty w/ a Sams Club Duracell AGM and plan to do the same w/ MH house AGM GC's when the time comes

I have had Duracell grp31 AGMs for 4 plus years and they have been great. Would purchase again. I wouldn't read too much into them not being available in Texas - when I purchased mine they were only available in any 20 states. Since Penn State manufacture multiple OEM brands, I suspect there are territorial limitations as to where some products can be sold. Good luck,

Sounds good-- the Sam's about 5 miles away has plenty of them- I'll be needing 8 ..ouch!
Gotta get the old ones out, clean up the bay really good, put on ospho on rusted areas and then coat it all with POR15 . I know what I'll be doing the next couple of days

Pretty much the same with wet cells if you have a good charger and add mineral oil to the cells. Last set I did that to lasted 10 years.
