Dutch Star-Leveler coils rusted

Hi,

I’m new to the site and have a 6 month old Dutch Star. The coils that circle the levelers are showing quite a bit of rust. Same thing with the entry stairs and the brackets for the cargo doors. Anybody experiencing the same? I did just spray with the WD 40 for rust. I’m also taking into the dealer to see what they say.

Thanks!!

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new rig! I wouldn't expect that with a Dutch Star! Hope the dealer will have some good news for you. Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

I'm thinking he means the return springs, but I've thought wrong before! LOL

I wouldn't worry about the return springs but the rest I would certainly wire brush and treat with a anti rust treatment.
