To do what you describe, the Ecoflow alternator would have to connect to the house batteries rather than the chassis battery. Presumably when the engine alternator has enough capacity, it charges the house battery and the Ecoflow Alt as well. That way it is available to reverse charge when needed.
It seems to me to be an expensive & complicated way to increase house battery capacity and I'm not sure you gain much advantage from the fact that the Ecoflow battery/inverter box has a lithium battery inside. Adding another battery directly to the house bank would likely achieve as much at far less cost. Yeah, it's not lithium, but are you looking for more amp-hours or just bragging rights?
I'll hasten to add I'm not anti-lithium or anti-Ecoflow. I have an Ecoflow River (1200wh and a big Bluetti 2400 with a solar panel. I just don't see where the extra value comes from spending a minimum of $850 to gain about 85 AH of battery capacity (1024 Wh from the Delta 3+). You get essentially the same additional capacity by adding one Group 24 lead-acid battery.
