I have used the flexible extenders for years. In one experience, years ago before my EEZ TPMS, had a loose connection but I caught the low pressure with periodic manual monitoring with my tire gauge. Maybe I should have had rigid extensions installed with my latest set of tires, but I didn't think of it. I'm still happy with the flexible extenders and can easily monitor pressures before and while I drive.
