Electric Cargo Tray - EZ Glide - 2021 Allegro Bus - Problem

The electric cargo tray in the basement area by EZ glide - The motor runs when buttons are pushed but the tray does not slide in or out. You can hear the mechanism running under the tray but no movement.

Do these trays come off their tracks?

Or is there a screw and yoke type mechanism that has spun itself out too far and the motor gear is detached from making the tray move?

I have googled the crapolla out of this issue and nada

any ideas? Thank You, Steve

Have you tried calling EZ-Glide. They bound to have a customer service that can answer all your questions. Good luck.

I cannot find a website for EZ Glide let alone a support number.

I did find the issue. A gear in the motor box has several teeth broken off. I Only used the tray 5 or 6 times with no cargo on the tray.

The company that sells ez glide is Fleming Sales.

Yes, I contacted Fleming Sales yesterdat. They have agreed to send out a new motor for free.

Fleming is suggesting Tiffin has been installing the trays incorrectly in their latest coaches thus causing the issue of the motor gears being over torqued. A motor for a tray that has only been used a few times should not be stripping out gear teeth.

I am attempting to have Tiffin look at the tray installation method as this problem may lead to a recall on the motorized slide out trays in most of the newer Buses.
