Has anyone ever replaced engine driven radiator fan on class A F53 v10 MH with electric fans? Does it help with power & mpg?

I don't know if you'll notice a change in mileage. The mechanical power of the belt driven fan will have to be replaced with the extra drag on the alternator making electrical power for the added fans. Were you thinking of making the fans run full time or turned on by a thermostatic switch? Is your air conditioning condenser in with the radiator or on the side? If it is cooled by the radiator fan, it might need to be switched so it runs when the A/C is on.

Just some things to think about.

Two fans, 1 to work with eng temp, 2nd to run with a/c.

I almost did the same thing to my F350 with the 6.0 diesel. It has been done a lot in the diesel community. Problem is finding what CFM the engine drive fan currently puts out then finding an electric fan with the same plus 10 to 20 % more. Your going to have a hard time finding dual fans that can do the work of the single engine driven fan.

Do some research over here before diving in, I'd hate to see you have an overheating issue.
