Electrical problem

We are dry camping, running the generator for 2 hours in the morning and four hours in the evening. Last night the furnace and water heater worked fine but tonight nothing.

I also noticed, the Smart EMS is not showing power.

What have I done wrong today and how can I get power to this panel?

I have checked the fuses and can't find any blown.

Check the breaker on the generator, in my case it is a single switch but is a 2 pole breaker. Trip it off and then back on. Happens occasionally on mine but an easy fix.

1) Does anything else on 12v work?
2) How much LP gas do you have? Water heater may be on either 12v or LP gas, and the vast majority of heating systems are LP. If the water and heat are the only things not working, it is probably a LP issue.
3) Do you have the ability to check the voltage at the battery, if so what is it showing.
4) What happens if you run the generator? Does everything work then?

The inverter is working.

LP is almost full.

I do not have any way to test voltage, but on the electrical panel says 12.72

Can't run the generator now.... quiet hours.

always helps to know what rig you have....If you have an inverter/charger is the power light on or tripped. Reset the inverter/charger to restore 12v charging. The furnace and water heater are 12 volt controlled thermostats.

You have a breaker or circuit breaker tripped. Check circuit breakers on your inverter and in your electrical panel. Also should have fuses somewhere. Check those also.

Hope this helps.

Are the WH and heat only things not working as they should?

Does the WH have a LP / 110v switch.

BTW, what kind of coach / TT are you in?

Have you tested all of the fuses and flipped and reset ALL of the breakers?

The only information as to the coach is Holiday Rambler. There is no model or year information. That may be of help to somebody else who reads this as different models will have secondary panels somewhere else and they may be able to point you into a different direction.

Thanks.... good point.

It's a 2003 Holiday Rambler Vacationer.

I've checked the fuses in the main panel in the bedroom.

I've flipped the breakers on the generator, main panel in bedroom.

In my opinion the problem is the EMS system is not getting power. It was fine while under generator.

After I shut down the generator, the EMS panel did not light up and doesn't show how many amps I'm using.

I'm headed to bed and will start over in the morning.

Thanks for trying to help.
