Please let us know the year, make and model of you RV.

If you have information about the make of your steps that might help, also.

And if you can't turn the lights on or off, I'm guessing your mean they don't at all and when you say the steps can't be turned on or off do you mean the step lights or that the steps cannot be extended or retracted?

Thanks and welcome to the forum.

Kwikee steps cannot be turned off, they are hot all the time. The controller moves them by switching the ground on/off.
Entry light/steps light should turn off/on with porch light.

There are 6 switches on the panel. Step, all lights, porch, storage bays, ceiling and there are 2 more but none of them will not do anything. Act they are locked but the all light switch on on. The porch light and the ceiling light come on when you open the door and cut off in 30 seconds.
