Empty weight of 40' class a

I've been searching various forums with no luck, so I'll just ask. Does anyone know the empty weight for a 1995 Monaco Crown Royale or same year Foretravel U300? We're shopping and it seems fairly easy to find GVWR for various coaches, but the empty weights seem far more elusive, and are just as vital if one is to figure carrying capacity; which is the real question to begin with.
I have found several very helpful sites, with brochures and all, which usually have this sort of information, but I am unable to find much on the older Monacos. The active manufacturer site only goes back to around 2004. I've found a great site with all the old brochures for Beaver and another for Foretravel, but I've failed to come up with the older Monacos or Safaris. I'd be happy to direct folks to the above sites, but not being great with computers I don't know how to post a direct link. The Foretravel brochure gives GVWR but not empty weight.

That can be a tall order. Given the way RVs can be optioned it will be very hard to find a good number. The best you can do is find some online and see if you can get the actual weights from the owners.

Or you can go to rv.org and buy their product. They list all kinds of useful information like average curb weight of , gvwr 000, and a pay load of . Along with the average price when it was new. It will also give you a rating based on 1-5 stars. It will cost you about $150 but it will be the best money you spend on an rv.

I have the RV.ORG subscription but I can't find any information on the weight issues. Where can I find it?

And, even when they do give it, it's probably wrong!

Our 2002 DSDP had an advertised NCC of about 5,300#'s, but the actual CCC was 663#'s. So, going by the "average" weight would have meant nothing.

In most cases every MH built carried different equipment (unless it was one manufactured for speculation sales where there were dozens made with the same equip. and options).

Ours is a 4090 model, but it's the only one made with a factory option storage bay freezer, and open bath/bedroom and the 14,600# front axle (added later). Just no way to have an accurate dry weight for every possible option combination.

MR_D

At least Newmar publishes NCC to give some vague idea about potential weight issues. Others don't even do that.
