What year is your coach?
You should have a sheet in your manual with all of the nameplate information. Failing that, Newmar would be able to help by giving the Coach S\N.

Welcome to iRV2.
Denny; I can't find a year listed for you coach. Or a chassis maker.
Ford , Workhorse?
If you get the info and when in "User CP" enter all your coach info in " Edit Signature " it will appear under your posts so you don't have to type it in every time.

Hi DennyNissley,
Go to
COM_Net2=
Select Parts & Warranty Reference
Select Brochures
find the year of your coach. The brochure may tell you the engine size.

If it is a gasser...... it is either a Ford V-10 or a Chevy 8.1 L V-8 (unless it is pre 1999 then Ford 460 V-8).

The Canyon Star is built on a Ford Chassis, these always have a 362 HP, Ford V10 engine. Count spark plug wires, Ford is the only V10 engine used in MH's.

The OP PM'd that he has a Workhorse Chassis (must have been one of the last Newmar acquired) and found the engine data.
Thanks to all who replied.

WOW. I'd love to see his Vin #.
A workhorse gasser chassis under a 2011 coach ????
Rare indeed, IMO.
