Engine light on dash

Yes I have a 2014 Forrest River legacy with a 300 hp cummins on a frieghtliner chassie. When I srt it up the engine light/check transmission light/abs light and sometimes some other lights come on. The motor starts fine and runs smooth! But if I shut it down and restart it, the lights will go out and everything appears to be good! Anyone ever have the same problems?

All the lights are supposed to turn on at start. It's called a "bulb check".
Does that sound like what you are seeing?

Check engine lights

No, these lights will stay on as if there is a problem if I don't restart to shut the lights off. This also happens periodically and does not happen all the time, some times even different lights come on as like the high voltage charging or just the engine lights or maybe the engine light along with the check engine light will come on. I kinda was thinking about some kind of electrical proble or even maybe some sort of dampness. I even had the abs light and check engine light come on by its self too!

I just returned from a service center in Colten, CA with the same problem. It was diagnosed as a "sensor" malfunction. They replaced the sensor and the lighting issue went away.

It's the sensor tucked deep inside the engine compartment and somewhat centered and on top. I'll attempt a picture tomorrow.
