Entry door screen spline

Happy holidays everyone....my 04 dynasty entry door screen needs to be replaced...trying to find the right size spline. Original is to far gone to reuse. I have tried all the big box home improvement stores with no luck. Even tried local screen and window repair businesses. The spline is smaller than .125 which equals 1/8". Best I can measure is 7/64? Anyone have a resource?

New spline is always harder to insert than old, weathered spline. Gotta have some crush available to hold the screen material in place.

I’d use the 1/8. It is fairly easily compressed, likewise stretching it will make it thinner, but I would recommend leaving a tail to allow for the eventual contraction.

My local Ace has screen and glass service. They must have like six sizes "not on shelf". My door had two splines to make extra strong and Tee rubber trim to hide groove. Bottom screen ,I used pet screen had to use smaller spline.
Here's all sizes scroll down most popular on top starting at 1/8" but smaller size lower down in .000"

Replacement spline will always be smaller than what was removed. DO NOT STRETCH IT when installing as it weathers it will shrink and contract; If anything, push it together while installing/rolling it into the groove while using the roller installation tool.

Spline diameter is the same as width of the groove, unless you are installing heaver/thicker screen material than OEM.
