Entry step not working properly

On my 2013 Allegro Bus my entry step does not full extend or return all the way in. I have lubed it and disconnected the mechanism and the step moves freely. Also the mechanism moves all the way in and out when disconnected?:

There was a recall last year on some of the Coach brand steps...check your step and if it says Coach on the front edge then call Tiffin to get the fix started.
