What am I doing wrong? Twice I have put eternabond around the skylight.. both times at the same corner it did not stick. This time I cleaned with Acetone and rolled it,, still lose in just the one place.. What am I missing

It could have been previously caulked with silicon caulk. Nothing sticks to silicon. You could try sanding and priming the area then apply the Eternabond tape.

I have used the Eternabond tape also and most of the time it works. I had a bad leak on a bedroom slide and this stuff worked great. Just something to think about if you can't get it to seal. You can also get it at Ace.
Not recommended for use with rubber roofs.

I swear by Eternabond! I too agree that there must be silicone on the roof in that part. If it is just a small part you may have to cut out the area and tape over the area once silicone is removed. Good luck

Site preparation is the key to using Eternabond, I second the recommendation. You might find this useful too: EternaBond Video Library
If you suspect RTV has been used, buy the speciality cleaner/remover. It is the only product successful at removing the residue. Not even RTV will properly adhere to previous residue.

I have had the same problem with my skylight. Sticks everywhere else but not on the skylight. No silicone was ever used on it. Now my skylight is cracking so I just ordered a new one. I will install it with butyl tape and then cover the seam and screws with self leveling sealant.

I have Eternabond on the perimeter seams only and use dicor on all the other roof vents, etc. They are easy to recaulk and after 12 years no leaks.
