I have a question

02 Holiday Rambler Endeavor exhaust break stays energized when throttle is applied.

Throttle positioning sensor, relay, solenoid and actuator checks OK

Any ideas?

Sounds as either the Transmission Control Module or the Engine Control Module is sending a "Hot" signal to operate the brake........
You are going to have to find schematics for both, locate the signal wire, and find out which one is doing this. Might just be easier to take it and have it plugged into the Cummins Insite program to troubleshoot it. Most all Cummins shops have the program for the Allison Transmissions to troubleshoot it also.
One thing you might try is to disconnect the negative chassis battery cable, wait and with a test light to see if the solenoid looses the hot signal. Then hook it back up and see if the signal comes back.

I would look at the lockup relay first. Might just need repeating. Cheap replacement. Also relive actuating arm.

It might even be that the linkage that operates the exhaust brake is just sticking, i.e. fails to release easily. Lack of lubrication of the actuating lever is a common problem in older rigs and can cause failure to engage or disengage.

The exhaust brake I have is a PacBrake and it is supposed to be lubricated once per year with a special libe. I would try to lubricate it it first before doing anything more expensive. When you lubricate it, move the part on the spring to make sure it is moving correctly.

I was having the same problem. I took the air line off and put a few drops of air tool oil in the slave cylinder and lubed the linkage with a hi temp graphite lube and it never stuck again.
