I usually remove the line and cap. Stow the line where it is safe.. If you leave it in place and it happens to move around a bit it can fall on the ground and then you need to buy a new hose (no danger, just need new hose) so it's easier to stow it in the storage box I have nearby. That way it can not fall down.
