Just signed the contract for the new FW last week. I'm anti-extended warranty; my DW not so much. I showed her how much it would cost over the life of the loan (if we didn't pay the loan off faster) and she still wanted to add it. Day after we signed the contract she started to question her decision. I wisely kept my mouth shut.

When I was selling life insurance, often the husband refused to buy - didn't care about the future. It's too easy to spend thousands on repairs, I'm delighted to have bought mine. Go ahead and take high risk chances, I'm too old.
