I ordered a Sunpass online twice & never recd it. I then stopped at a service center on the tollway & purchased one for $25.00 & put $50 on the thing, when you set it up on line you put in all your vehicle license numbers & what ever charges are incurred while towing or not are billed to your account. You only need one Sunpass to set up the account & it doesn't matter if you have the unit in the tow vehicle or not, when the computer reads the lic plate it bills your account.

Setup motorhome pass for however many axles you have and same for toad. If you take coach on the road with no toad there is no need to remove any ez pass device. With coach and toad just leave the device in each vehicle when going through ez pass lane correct?

We have them already in all of out vehicles except motorhome and want one for it.
Not exactly correct. Cover the EZ Pass transponder in your towed vehicle to prevent overcharging. The machine counts the axles and bills accordingly.

Also please make sure your RV EZ Pass is configured to the correct weight class. We can save big bucks over the length of the PA Turnpike over the rate charged when the toll machine "sees" a large vehicle. If you are paying the higher rates get a form and apply for a refund.

Just the axles. There is no scale at the toll booth. You might be overpaying if the EZ Pass isn't set up for your motorhome.

Definitely, you WILL be overcharged if you leave the transponder in your towed vehicle.
Ask me how I know.

We got it setup this weekend.

We decided that 99 percent of the time we are pulling our jeep behind us so we just decided to set the transponder up for 4 axles and tires for the proper wt think it was greater than 15k option on website.

Figured for the one time per yr we have the coach on the road without the toad we will just pay cash. Didn't really want to buy another transponder. We already have three others for our vehicles.

Now the million dollar question is whether or not it will work mounted high in the middle of our class a windshield? We have a one piece with no metal separator in middle.
