Fan-tastic vent control replacement

FAN-TASTIC VENT CONTROL REPLACEMENT

Looking for reasonable pricing to replace My Model 6504/414 Fan controller display. They have been acting very strange; like that have a life of there own blinking on and off and or not responding to the touch. Almost $150 with shipping from FAN-TASTIC VENT.

Thank you, r0n….

I assume you have called them?
They are very good at servicing their products, but at the same time you aren't going to get any swingin' deals unless you can find something used for parts.

I ain't a cheap hobby..

Yes I did call them. They suggested I might find the 2 controllers cheaper online. So far no luck, Guess I will have to pay the piper.

Yeah, They won't undercut their dealers..
Have you tried taking it apart and cleaning with alcohol on a Q-Tip? That's nothing but a tactile piece of conductive rubber on the back. Either there is gunk on the PC board where it lands, or the little conductive piece of rubber has moved a little.

Can't hurt to try. There's little to hurt once you crack the case open
