Not me

I never had much luck with Firestone. they are owned by Bridgestone, not a bad tire. I like the Hankooks.

I have Firestone FS561 tires on my motorhome and love them, my last set of tires were Hankook's AH11 and even though they never gave me a problem I didn't know how hard they rode till I got the Firestone FS561 tires..

Same 14 ply rating as the Hankook's but the FS561 tires have 1 ply sidewall vs 2 ply on the Hankook's AH11, I guess that is why they ride softer..

2 years now with the Firestone FS561 and no issues, they ride soft, quiet and smooth, I am sold from here on out on these tires unless someone shows me something better..

My tires are 245/70/19.5

No experience with Firestone. My current set are Toyo which I have been pleased. Last set of Michelin were a big disappointment.

Last spring I chose to install 245/70R19.5 Firestone FS561 tires on my motorhome. After research online and reading reviews it seems that people who have them like them including OTR truckers.

I liked the FS561 because:
  • They are actually made in the USA with American labor.
  • They appear to be a virtual clone to the Bridgestone R238.
  • The price is really good

I balanced using internal beads (BB gun BB's in my case). They are smooth and vibration free. After 5K miles all good.
