Love my George Foreman for indoors. Will have to check out everyone's suggestions. I have a big Weber at home.

One of my best friends and mentors used to just go nuts when someone didn't use natural charcoal. He passed away several years ago.

I would have liked to meet him. For things like outdoor breakfast, an electric griddle is ok but I prefer putting a griddle on last night's coals. Anything else, wood and fire.

Big Green Egg Mini Max. It weighs 80#s so it takes the two of us to "heave" it into the basement bay. Note 3/4" plywood it sits on..... I've thought about building some sort of slide out to make it easier to store.........

We cook dinner on it probably 5 out of every 7 nights. Expensive, but well worth the investment!

We put a cable lock on it while we camp, vs. puttng it back in the bay each time we use it.

Lump charcoal in the blue bin.......

We also carry a small propane grill as we have run into several places where any sort of "charcoal" grill is not allowed due to perceived fire risks.

Good luck in your travels.

Next to parents and grandparents he was an amazing mentor and friend.

Another vote for the Weber Q. Light weight, low profile and easy clean up.

We love our Camp Chef Explorer three-burner grill with griddle. It handles anything we throw on it.
