First trip and windshield wipers

Just got back from first trip. Not far, 300 miles each way. The Tiffin 35QBA was great. I am sure happy I did the Sumos all the way around and the Steering stabilizer as the roads in rural Arkansas are narrow, windy (and windy in some storms) and rough. Handled with no problems or scares.
TOAD towed great also.
Only downside was wife has to learn it has a kitchen sink, she doesn't need to bring one.

On return while washing the coach, I noticed the windshield wipers was down lower than the seal.
The shaft is loose. Raining again so have not had a chance to investigate. Can you access the mechanism from under the hood or do you have to get behind the dash??

Thanks

Milton

Usual access is through the front 'hood' just below the windshield. Check that the wiper arms aren't just tightened by removing a plastic cap and then using a socket on a bolt in the recess under that cap.
