This happened on a very narrow 2 lane with little to no shoulder and deep ditches on both sides. A large truck came around a corner at least 3 feet on our side of the road. I opted to move over. The road had been paved so many times that the pavement had an 8 inch edge drop off. Pavement was wet and when the front tires dropped off the pavement, I couldn't get the front tires back onto the road surface. The less than foot of shoulder, gave way and we went down the embankment...lots of boulders and fence posts. Of course, we couldn't get out the door but the windshield popped and we exited through it. All things considered, she was buckled up but still in tact. No injuries. Very lucky but still it took a couple years to get back in the saddle.

Stay cool, and steer with authority. Sometimes, going for the most survivable crash is the only best thing you've got. It's what a good driver does, no brain freeze and give it your best shot with the steering wheel.

Since this Fleetwood Class A was assembled entirely in the USA, I love to hear by what logic did you reach this opinion.

For us it's Tiffen or nothing.
My 1999 Tiffen Bus 39 has that same channel iron bumper behind the facia. I've never doubted the survivability of the coach in a frontal crash, it's that rollover scenario combined with prefab walls that makes me nervous.

I believe the logic will be found under the heading of "Humor - sarcasm"...

There is a different sub forum here for that, as opposed to the forums where members actually try to help each other.

There are plenty of DPs that would stay together plus the bus conversions.
DP is built the same exact way they just burn different fuel.

1998 and onward Country Coach built its semi-monocoque chassis with all welded steel structure. It does look like inseparable.

Not a lot of privacy in that rig.
