Fleetwood Class A Crash
I'm not a fan of posting crash scenes....other people's misery....but this one is unique. The chassis separated from the body! Luckily, no injuries.

Wow, that really makes you wonder.
Think if I owned one of those I'd be at a dealer trying to find out if it was put together correctly.
Thanks for posting.

A month ago we happened onto an accident on our highway that resulted in a travel trailer body being sheared off the frame. It was easy to see the trajectory of the SUV hitting it and understand how it was sheared off. It would take quite a forward or side impact to separate the body from the frame of this Fleetwood. Undoubtedly, an investigation will follow.

I think if you drive off the left side of the road and hit an embankment, or hill, not sure any motorhome would stay together.

I’ve always said a gas Class A is nothing but a trailer sitting on usually a Ford chassis. Not sure how the driver missed the steering wheel when it separated.
There are plenty of DPs that would stay together plus the bus conversions.

And that's a major problem. And, why we drive what we drive.

Luckily, we were forced off the 'right' side of the road...a little buckled/twisted, but together - no injuries. The Jeep lived on.
