you're probley right, I think that one had the button on the end of the shifter,,..

heck if I know,,,,that was about 30 motorhomes ago...

call mike thompsons rv and ask... they probley remember the details better..

It is for the post-2001 Workhorse chassis models, and primarily the W20/W22 models at that. Workhorse made a number of major improvements in the P30 after they bought out the Chevy motorhome chassis business, and their all-new W-series chassis has zero in common with the P30 anyway.

the vortec chevy runs circles arould the old fords.... my son has a p30 1996 flair 30'r pulls away on the hill from my new v10..

those old v-10 were horrible

work horse took a sawsall and split the cross member on the first chassis to make them wider and they came with the same vortec 454

I have a 1993 Pace Arrow and the 454 Chevy Big Block engine is rock solid and powerful!

It had only 55,000 miles on the engine when I bought it and I had a few minor adjustments made to it. But, again, it's rock solid!

I haven't had any problems with the engine at all.

It probably helps that I only drive it at 55-60 miles per hour. Sometimes I may take it up to 62 miles an hour, when I want to let my hair down.
