Fleetwood Pace Arrow VS Holiday Rambler Navigator
Seems to me that these 2017-up versions of each are identical except for the dash board & outside paint jobs.
They have IDENTICAL floor plans such as 33D, 36U etc etc. Whats the point of this? Is it to compete with Winnebago and Itasca which are identical as well except for colors?
Has anyone found that the Fleetwood version is better in some way than the holiday rambler version or vice versa?

I don't have any knowledge of those coaches, but just comment that these companies are owned by the same parent company. If that means anything

they are similar, because just like many other manufacturers who own several different 'brands, they are all built down the same line every day... but as to their 'similarity', the BRANDS are carried by different dealers... one dealer may be a pure 'Fleetwood' dealer, carrying the Pace Arrow and Discovery... another may be a 'Holiday Rambler' original dealer who carries those models. This gives dealer a differential factor, especially when located close to others, plus... some of these dealers were original Holiday Rambler and Monaco dealers when Fleetwood/REV purchased those brands, so it stands to reason that they would continue to sell those.
Sometimes this type of dealer separation works well, and sometimes it seems it's overlap/duplication - and yes, Winnebago and Itasca are under the same ownership, their brands and models are 'sisters' and look very much alike, but the dealers who handle ITASCA, especially the 'original' dealers, want to continue some separation from the standard Winnebago dealers. Of course, Winnebago could decide at any time to do away with this 'branding' difference, but it might not sit well with some dealers who then would lose their marketing difference.

They said they wouldn't do that when Rev bought up Monaco/HR/Beaver brands, but they did. They've also done some of the same to the lower end of the American Coach line vs Fleetwood models. There is only one factory and all the coaches come down the same assembly line, so differences are limited to what can be accomplished by installing different features and trim, and no assembly line process can afford to handle too many options.

We recently bought a 2018 HR Vactioner 35K. The difference between it and the Fleetwood 35K was the Fleetwood had an over the driver area bed, a free standing dinette table and some trim differences, plus the Fleetwood was $5000 more.

I can't speak to the Holiday Rambler vs Pace Arrow comparisons. But I can speak to the Holiday Rambler Endeavor vs Fleetwood Discovery. You are correct they both offer the same floor plans come down the same assembly lines. The difference is the price point, some things are standard on the Discovery that are optional or not available on the Endeavor. The Discovery is the top of the line Fleetwood and the Endeavor is the slightly less expensive HR.
I imagine it is the same with the Navigator and Pace Arrow. Pace Arrow window stickers just slightly higher than the HR. Look through the brochures of each brand and you will probably find the $5000 difference. Once you find the difference, does it matter to you? Do you need that standard feature on one. option on the other? If not, pick your floor plan and see which will give you the best bang for the buck.

Holiday Rambler's are more expensive but they are the same except for styling, trim and colors. Some models do have differences though. Gotta check to see what they are from model to model.
