Fleetwood vs Holiday Rambler?

I understand that both of these companies are owned by the REV group. They both have the same model numbers. Are there any basic differences between the models?

I took the factory tour and both are built on the same line using the same parts and construction procedures, the only difference is in the trim levels and option choices.

it's like Chevy and GMC, very little difference - marketing name, and allows two different dealers in the same area to carry the same 'brand', just with a different badge...

yes, both Fleetwood/AmericanCoach/Monaco/HolidayRambler are all the same 'brand'

Is one more expensive than the other one similar to the GMC/Chevrolet models? If so which one is the GMC and which one is the Chevrolet?

Years ago I would have ranked Holiday Rambler over Fleetwood and Monaco over American Coach. With all the mergers I would guess now Fleetwood and HR are probably on par with each other and Monaco and American Coach are probably on par with each other. Have not toured any recently, so maybe some others might some more concrete opinions.

They look to have different floor plans between brands(at least the larger units I did not check them all). AC looks to have highest end units, lowest goes in a tie to HR and Fleetwood. HR goes higher than Fleetwood but Monaco is between AC Revolution and AC Dream in size this year. Lines seem to be Fleetwood-AC and HR-Monaco.

Since they are all made by the same folks MSRP should give a decent idea of what ones are higher/lower models.

Doubt there is a lot of difference between similar priced units. Factory might tell you what exact differences are or one could get their literature and compare features.

Dealer may well be a bigger difference depending on what models you are looking at.

I think it is important to state that the opinions being stated are about the current production models, not how they were relative to each other 5, 10 or 15 years ago.

If there is any difference between mine and the Bounder 33C, I can't see it. The headlights and doghouse covers do look different, but I have not seen the 2017's. Kinda like Winnebago and Itasca, designed so dealers close to each other can sell the same thing, just branded differently. Winnebago seems to be going back to a single brand and REV may be going the other way. Fleetwood and HR may offer different options. Who knows!
