What kind of cost are you looking at for replacement seat covers and armrests on Flexsteel Captain's Chairs?

not reall sure of the cost.i contaced her and does indeed make them but need the info off the chairs themselves and just havent had time to go look.

Are you a victim of the faulty pleather we have a 2014 36la just emailed Tiffin they are sending replacement covers free of charge.

We are also the second owners it doesn't matter, what year is your coach? Also did you register your coach with Tiffin with you as the new owner?

Lisa Bauer was the point of contact at Flexsteel before they pulled out from the RV industry. She must have found a business opportunity and if she has access to the original patterns, this is good news for all.

For reference, I bought replacement covers for 2 captains chairs for 850.00. Real Ultraleather which was an exact match for my originals.

If it hasn’t been mentioned yet, inorder identify the pattern correctly, you will need the style tag which is located under the captain chair.

I would check with an RV flexsteel dealer such as Countryside Interiors in Junction City, OR great company and knowledgeable:

My experience at Countryside RV Interiors is they refuse to stand behind the inferior “ultraleather” recliner I purchased from them. Within six months the fabric began peeling. After multiple attempts to get a resolution, they offered to sell fabric at their cost ($560 plus shipping) and I could pay to have the chair upholstered. This is for a recliner that originally cost $1200. Fabric + Shipping + Labor = paying twice for the same product, IMHO.

BTW, when the fabric peeled from the arm rests, we removed the fabric and the wood below one arm is Cherry and a Walnut finish on the other.

So, no I cannot recommend Countryside RV Interiors.

I would register with Tiffin first the send pictures of damaged mat. also send a picture of your vin. tag on the dash. Not sure if you're to old it's worth a shot. Contact I used was

There is a former flexsteel employee who has the patterns for a lot of the furniture. See post above.
