Floor plan database

We are considering upgrading from our 2007 Fleetwood Discovery 39V. We would like something less than three years old, 40' or less, with some other criteria.

Does anyone know of a floor plan database where we could put in certain parameters, such as half-bath or not, TV lift, opposing slides, etc., that could help us find compatible floor plans?

Thanks,

Chris

To the best of my knowledge, there is no such thing.

I am sure there are RV for sale websites that allow you to enter in criteria to find the perfect RV. But that data is likely entered by the person selling the rig or the dealership.
Someone for sure could build a website that has fields a forum user enters the data in for their own RV that another later forum user could search across all RVs to find examples. But the data would only be as accurate as whoever entered it.

Not aware of an example, but it wouldn't be hard to build that site.

Thinking about this more, if a "RV for Sale" website was built and there was a field in the database of status like "Available" or "Sold" or "Pending sale", then if you searched for all status's then you should be able to find a rig that meets your definition - even if it's already been sold for the one the seller entered.

This forum has for sale RVs...that would be the perfect place for the above to be implemented.

Chris-

This is a method I use:

1) Determine a range of:
a) asking prices
b) size
c) years
that you'd consider

2) Go to the larger Web sales sites:
a) RVtrader
b) RVT
c) PPLmotorhomes

3) Search using the criteria listed in 1)

4) For the coaches that come up, download the manufacturer's brochures

You're not trying to buy a unit- just research. If you come upon a "great deal" or an unusual unit that piques your interest, make a note and continue the research. It's important not to be sidetracked.

For a search I made this year, I eventually compiled a spreadsheet of the two-dozen-or-so candidates. Each candidate entry included a floorplan picture that I lifted from the brochure.

As a final note, once the research is done, expand the criteria you set in 1). Sometimes you can find a more expensive, or larger/smaller or older/newer coach that really gets your imagination going.

Chris the search criteria isn't as extensive as you'd like but RVing Planet does have a pretty extensive list of floorplans. It works best if your searching manufacturer and model but there are other options (like sleeps #) that work to some extent.

I found many floor plans on here

library.rvusa.com

I just google something like "2010 fleetwood bounder 35h brochure" and this came up https://library.rvusa.com/brochure/2010_bdr_pf.pdf
