Flooring in motorhome

We own a 2010 Holiday Rambler Arista and have found the floor in front of the kitchen to be sinking in some what and bouncy when you walk on a area of it. A bolt came up through the vinyl and when it was taken up the floor is raised up in the middle at least 1/4". Upon calling the manufacturer they told us the floor one piece and is made to flex and was alright. Has any one heard of the floor flexing? We are going to take it back to the dealer to get it looked at but just curious.

Hi Don and

I'll be interested to hear what others say but to have that much give in the floor of a new coach sure doesn't sound right to me.

We're glad you're here and best of luck.

Rick

I'm with Rick on this one. Way to new a coach for those problems. If you purchased it from a dealer, have you asked them for help?

Think I would be looking under the flooring if possible and in any compartment under that area to see if there is water damage.

Hope this works out to be something way more simple though.

The flooring is not supposed to flex. Our 22 year old travel trailer floor does not flex. Tell the manufacturer he is full of something and demand that they fix the problem.
