FMCA Convention

We are going to the FMCA convention in Minot in August. The "discussion" my wife and I are having is whether to attend the RV basics school prior to going. I am not a newbie but have been driving my Class A for about 2 years. I have found out a lot of things from here, the internet, and from trial and error. My question is whether it would be beneficial to attend, being that I do have a little experience. It is $400 for both and lasts 2 1/2 days. Has anyone attended one before?

I too was considering this. I guess it couldn’t hurt but it is way way over priced. My friends went to the one in Perry but they are new. They said it was mostly a sales seminar.

I find it interesting that folks thought it was a sales seminar as those doing the seminar weren't selling anything. The feedback I see says the basic course is very informative but if you are the "old pro" then it probably isn't for you.

You might benefit from the driving class or the backing class.

I assume that class includes driving and maneuvering instruction? What else could possibly take 2 1/2 days and be worth $400.00???
