One stated benefits change rapidly. Most if the time the change is because the provider won’t provide the benefit anymore or they raise the price beyond reason.

The current benefits still outweigh the annual cost by a huge margin. I am happy to be a member and encourage anyone who isn’t to join.

Then the rates should have been raised to cover cost
There appears to be a need for the service, with all the mail forwarding companies out there
Then,if people had a problem, then talk about do away with it
But a mute case now,it's been done...C

FMCA Renewal
If the rates were raised to cover the cost for the very few members using FMCA’s mail forwarding, the charge would have far exceeded the market rates from other providers.

This is typical of a business that has had to downsize quickly and hasn't been able to cut cost to meet its new business reality. FMCA's infrastructure was developed to support a pre-2008 membership base (before the recession and decline in MH sales). It has tried to cut its infrastructure costs, but eventually decided that opening membership to owners of towables was better than further trimming of costs.
At least when it was a MH-only organization it had some uniqueness. Now it is hardly distinguishable from Good Sam.

I'm a full timer - I'm already home.
Tire program would be nice if Toyo weren't so inexpensive when compared to Michelin, even with the FMCA discount on Michelin.
I just haven't found enough value in FMCA...

Anywhere. $69 per year is a different matter of course.

I have been a member for years and still am. I keep trying to use their tire program but have found tire dealers that will beat the FMCA price. Example: 2 hours ago I got a price on Continental tires from a local CA dealer. His price was nearly $70 per tire less than the FMCA program price. (Set of 6 255/70R22.5 tires for $2350 including mounting, balancing, FET, disposal and CA sales tax.) Tires will be installed next week.
I should probably drop my membership but I still keep renewing.

I just joined FMCA last month
I joined for the FMCA Road Rescue at a cost of $69. Then I called there RV insurance department and had them quote my National General insurance that just went up $300 on my renewal. They saved me $500 on my renewal. So they really saved me $800. Exact same coverage.
Edit: Also when I go to FL for the winter, I'm going to get one of their hotspots.
Very happy. I'm looking forward to going to some of their rallies in the future.

I belonged to FMCA for 20 years. Used their roadside emergency service. Also tried Good Sam and a couple others. Finally settled on a different roadside service and am happy with it. That left only a magazine, which I don't have time to read anyway. I'm out.

I for one would like to know which "different roadside service" you settled on. Based on your experiences would you please rank the top 3 you've used?

I just signed up for the Road Side assist program and am dropping coach net, at $249 per year Coach Net Renewal verses $69 for FMCA. Coach Net has been raising their prices over the years and I had to buy an upgraded plan to cover our cars. The Wife had a flat tire and had to wait over three hours for assistance in July because the contracted company had to drive over from Cheboygan, almost an hour and 45 minutes from our town. I am sure a local company would have been here sooner if they were in network. Having been a Good Sam Member and GS Towing service then switching to Coach Net when it was offered through FMCA I will try the new FMCA plan. Worth the 5 year dues in my opinion.

RVing tires

I am not a MH snob so that didn't keep me from renewing either. I still display my membership placards proudly.
Some hope of return home is better than no hope of return home. The cost for membership is insignificant. If you have a better plan for that type of assistance then go for it. I don't know that one has any better guarantees than another. They all have limitations.
My OEM tires are just expensive and only available in Michelin. Considering changing the tire size as others have to open up my options. Haven't checked their tire prices for the other options. The tire discount wasn't important to me.
I like them because they do offer quite a bit for a low membership cost.

In reading this topic there was a lot about tires, My feeling is not spending a lot on Michelin and other expensive brands because they will only last 6 to 8 years as the side wall will fail before the tread ware needs replacement.
