FMCA tire discount?
what is the FMCA tire discount?
i need to buy two Michelin x 235/80r22.5 xrv tires
because the tread is gone on the outer edge after only 14,500 mi on my 2016 ITASCA Sunstar 35F with Ford F59 chassis. that means alignment is out bad.
im going try to get Ford to replace them, but im thinking there's a fat chance of that happening... has anyone tried this?
i looked for FMCA tire prices here https://www.fmca.com/rv-tires-discounts but you have to be a member to get the discount pricing information.
can someone tell me how much the Michelin x 235/80r22.5 xrv tires would be with the FMCA discount?
thank you!

I belong to FMCA and checked their discounted prices last summer. I wasn't impressed with them. I ended up going with eight Toyo tires @ over $300 savings per tire below the FMCA discounted price. These Toyo's are rated for a higher speed, although I always drive 65 or less. They have 30% deeper tread and the ride is the same. My six year old Michelins were cracked and I have never heard of a Toyo cracking. It's your money and your choice, but "M's" are overrated and overpriced IMO.

Yes you can mix them since they are steering tires. You would have to match the height on the drive axle.

I belong to FMCA but decided to replace the tires on our Bay Star with Toyo tires as the price was far better than Michelin, Goodyear or Continental tires offered under FMCA pricing.

I totally agree on the Toyos! Better deal Michlens are way over priced.
FMCA deals aren't very good.
Hard to find 275 70R 22.5 tires on Toyos

And I paid $20 less than that for 295X80/R22.5 LRH Toyo's which are three sizes larger.

Wow that's really a good price.
Probably another 100 for mounting and balancing and installing somewhere else

I had it done by Butler Tire in Marietta GA. They are total pros. An old shop but their alignment man has 30 years + experience. Driving a Ford chassis for 7 years and never been this smooth. It tracks straight too. Get the balance done on the coach. Totally worth the extra money
