FMCA's RV Road Help

I received a notification from Family Motor Coach Association that they now have a roadside assistance program available called 'RV Road Help' through Allstate.

So, what about Coach-Net?

Jim

'RV Road Help' is good service from Allstate. I used it for several years.
And they also are providing ERS for Good Sam now.

Coach Net their own web site.

Good Sam

FMCA is pleased to introduce RV RoadHelp, powered by Allstate Motor Club, as one of the newest options in the FMCA benefits portfolio.
Coach Net is no longer on FMCA benefits list.

I learned about 4 years ago that Coach-Net only gave the first year's discount to FMCA members. After that no discount was available so FMCA was not an advantage to cost of Coach-Net membership. Still use Coach-Net however.

IMO FMCA has eliminated/dropped any and all useful/worthwhile "benifit" they once included.
I did not renew my membership this year.

CoachNet ERS, (and any other, formerly included FMCA benefit), that I want, or feel I need, I have purchased directly.

FMCA must of got a better deal for themselves by switching. Did I say better deal for themselves, but not a better deal for members. face it, FMCA is out for a buck just like Good Sam's. Whom ever purchases the most advertising in their mags or gives them a piece of the action they'll switch. We'll stay with Coach Net. They have answered every call I ever made to them and provided EXCELLENT service when needed. Safe Travels... ed

the reason I got from fmca was that coach net changed some of the parameters of their service. anyone know if this Is fact or fiction? I won't touch an Allstate co of any sort.

would love to stay with coach net if all is the same.

I have had nothing but great service from Coach-Net and wouldn't dream of switching even though I'm a 11 year FMCA member and enjoy the membership.

I called our director this past Saturday to let her know that she should bring her large ladder to the theatre. She had just waited 3 1/2 hours for Allstate to come to give her a jump in her car. She never did get the jump from them, she got help from an auto parts store getting her car started and got a new battery from them and had her husband put it in when she got home.

The reason Allstate did not show up? While he was on the way to her he saw someone else broke down and helped them before coming to the one that was promised the help.
