Folding Mirrors

Our 2015 Sunova has fixed mount mirrors, as do many Class A motorhomes. Where we store our RV is extremely narrow, and we have seen many motorhomes there with mirrors that have been broken off.

Has anyone found folding mirror mounts to reduce this problem? We need a flat mount, and our mirrors have cameras in them.

No I haven't. But personally, for me, I wouldn't be jacking with my complex mirrors with cameras and changing them or the mounts and possibly opening up some operational issues for a temporary storage area that I now rent. I would just rent a bit larger area. When we stored our MH before we went FT, we were renting a brand new 13' 6" x 50' unit with a concrete floor, 20amp outlet and roll away door for $250/mo. I could get in and out of there with no problem and have plenty of room on both sides.

My 2 cents.

Something you might check on, assuming your mirror arms are like ours and many others. One of the adjustments is to take a cap off the bottom of the housing bolted to the front cap and loosen the nut/bolt with a socket wrench. This may allow the arm to swing from the side of the coach around to the windshield. If it does, just swing it around front out of the way while in storage.

Storage space size: Land is chap in Texas, not in SE Florida. Pay $200/mo for 9.5 x 40 - no power, no cover. Took the last hard spot (not grass) in Broward County at the time we took it!

Folding Mirrors: Unfortunately, ours do not. I think that only applies to the Euro design mirrors. I am looking for something like this: https://www.etrailer.com/Custom-Towi...62075-76G.html , except with a factory installed look and built in cameras.
