epawas part.... but the motor makes top tq at 3200...when they went to the 6speed they slowed the rpm down..made a better gear spread...

I had 3 or 4 of them.... mabe 5 have to think about it..I also had a journey 350hp and an excursion..300hp the little gasser pulled the 6% grade 20 mph faster...but they are very noisey

I bought so many work horse chassis they sent me a jacket

my favorite by far... forced to ford..only thing with the allisons was they didn't like the heat and the grades of Nevada az and so cal.... what I think was they set the computer limits too low for the desert and would shut down..

Just fine is the answer. I have a '16 Miramar 33.5 and tow a Ford Explorer.

As others have said, its the engine and trans combo. On hill climbs for sure you will hear King Triton get louder as he works below and next to you. On the flats, 70 MPH is about 2250 RPMs and my bride and me can converse in normal voices. Wind and road noise are louder the engine note.

I'm likely to do Banks, because a fair bit of our future driving will be out west (most so far has been east) and I want a bit more power for those hill climbs.

All the best.

Thank you JD11 the wife and I have a 2016 Vegas 25.2 with the 450 ford V10
and have had no problems pulling any hills on the east coast, we wondered how well a bigger coach with the same power plant would pull.
