Ford V-10 Coolant Leak
I have a 2006 Fourwinds Windsport motor home with the Ford V-10 engine. Over the last year, I have had an intermittent coolant leak. The coolant drips off the inside (engine side) of the radiator on the driver's side. It seems to be related to using the heater during travel. I can not seem to replicate the event at idle. Any ideas about what is going on or where the possible leak could be? Football girl's husband.

Try Blue Devil sealant. You can get it at auto zone. I put it in my son's Honda with bad head gasket. You must follow the directions to the T!

The two hoses to the heater may have a splice between the engine hose exits and the extended hoses to the heater unit they are located on top of the engine area.
Found the clamps on mine four of them a couple were loose and required all new clamps.

Standard procedure on Fords is to replace all of the factory pinch type hose clamps. They are notorious for failing.

Changed all of my hose clamps and took care of the problem

Hmmm, Don't have any problem with mine. ...and don't be loading up the cooling system with "stop leak", or you'll end up having to replace the heater core, and maybe the radiator too. Stop leak can't tell the difference between a leak, and a tube.

Get the system pressure checked and that should show up the leak. I agree replace the clamps with good worm gear clamps and hold off on any stop leak product.

Same here with replacing the hose clamps on my previous '02 MH. One of the Ford steel hose clamps was rusted completely in two. I was lucky and found the drip at home. Found one other clamp rusted really bad. Replaced all for about $10 and a couple of hours, got a lot of peace of mind from that.
Buy good stainless screw clamps.

Another warning
If the ball shaped coolant reservoir is cracked, replace it now. Ours was OK until we drove it several hundred miles from home. $100 from Ford only.
