Foremost Insurance

Has anyone had experiences with Foremost Insurance (good or bad)?

Here is a link to over 200 previous threads for Foremost Insurance. Many of them are fairly recent and probably will be able to help with your question.

Foremost is a subsidiary of Farmers Insurance. Been around since the 1950's.

So I guess that if your boondocking and a moose throws a swingset thru your windshield and you get pelted with pine cones by squirrels, your covered.

I recieved a quote from them in Ohio, they were non competitive - very high. BTW in Ohio no one could touch National General.

We had Foremost on our Goldwing Trike and our 03 Phaeton from 2003 to 2011. They were competitive through that time and quickly paid for a windshield and a towing bill in Ohio when the injection pump failed. In 2011, they took a big jump and I went to Allied where we still remain. We have Farmers on our AZ home, a boat and two vehicles there, but Foremost is still 40% higher than Allied

Foremost Insurance

I shopped around this past year before buying our insurance. Foremost (one of my clients at work) was 2x higher than any other quote I received.

I had Foremost coverage for a mobile home I had that went through Hurricane Charley. They paid a generous amount for the damage without quibble.

I have had fulltimers agreed-value motorhome coverage via Foremost for five years. Note that this is vastly different than ordinary auto insurance or RV insurance that covers only vacation usage. It's gone up over the years but not ridiculously.

We have had Foremost for several years now. Very good rate for here in Georgia that actually went down last year. Have had the good fortune of only making a windshield claim which they paid with no increase.

I've had Foremost insurance on our double-wide mobile home for 15+ years. They've paid my claims promptly and without quibbling. I've been very pleased with their rates and service.

We are almost-fulltimers, and we use Foremost. Not as concerned with premium cost as with coverage. We have previously used Geico and American Standard. We had a sizable water damage claim with Foremost a couple of years ago, no hassle and generous settlement.

I use them. Had a claim the first year, $7,500. The claim was made on Thursday with one estimate, adjuster showed up Monday am. Got a call Monday afternoon saying check will be mailed asap. Had it by the end of the week.

They will also cover pest infestation damage.
