Foremost RV Insurance

Any using Foremost insurance? Had any claims?

I am with National General right now but want to make a move. Not too many companies will write policies in Rhode Island so right now it is Geico, National General, Progressive and Foremost.

Just got my quote from Foremost and their rate is basically the same as my current rate so I am wondering if I am making a step up in insurance when I need it. Not as concerned about the rates as I am a company that will have my back when I need them.

I have Foremost fulltimer agreed-value insurance on my MH. I haven't had any claims on it; I did have a claim on a mobile home after Hurricane Charley and they paid promptly with no hassle.

I just renewed our insurance with Allied. The premium was for replacement value, basically what I paid for it when new. The foremost quote I got was the same price but for actual depreciated value only.

I cannot vouch for the RV insurance that Foremost has, but their automotive insurance SUCKS with all caps. My son was rear ended by a van on the interstate that caused a five car collision. This collision caused my son's car to catch fire and spread to the suv in front of him. The driver of the van was charged with the accident. My son has full coverage with Foremost and the van also had it's insurance with Foremost. As of today (May 3rd) we have not yet received anything from them other that the runaround. Nothing to pay for the vehicle that was totaled or anything for the medical coverage for the concession that my son received. Today, we received another letter from them, this time informing us that they have assigned a new adjuster to work our claim. This accident happened on March 10. It's been almost two months and we are still paying on the totaled vehicle and now a new vehicle to replace it. Needless to say that we are P---ed at this company and have reported them to the state insurance commission. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS INSURANCE TO ANYONE. Here's a link to the news story about the accident.
