Forest River FR3 versus Thor Ace

We went to the Tampa show today and looked at the 27 and 29 Thor Ace. Also looked at the new 29 fr3. Right now, it's a toss up. Liked the seating of the Thor and it seemed pretty solid. Also liked the interior steps. Then we saw the FR3. Like the fiberglass roof. It's a new feature. Didn't really like the dinette but the sofa was nice. Any thoughts or experiences with either?

We have a 2014 Thor ACE 29.2; love the floorplan and the features. It has held up well and we haven't had any problems. Good luck with your decision!

We have an FR3 30DS.... And really enjoy it- think you will find so many similarities between the two that it will just come down to the small feature differences- we just liked the look and floorplan

Owners of A.C.E. 29.2

We are the proud owners of a 2015 THOR A.C.E. 29.2. The layout was our discriminator, as well as price point. Would do it again....
