Fresh water leak

While learning "new to me" systems on our coach I thonk i caused a fresh water leak.

I was using the sewer flush system which came with the coach and heard the water running in the tank. I stepped away for a second and when came back water was running down the side of the white fresh water tank. Turned off the water and it stopped. When I disconnected the hose there was pressure and alot of water that came out of the connection like it was backed up.

Concerned about the water system I hooked up the city water and it worked great, good pressure and no leaks.

I turned on the "tank fill"to check that system and again saw the water leak coming from the same area of the fresh water tank. "Top"

Are the two systems connected?
Thoughts anyone?

On a side note, if all my water tanks, fresh, gray and black are in the same bay why didn't newmar seal it better? Water drained everywhere.

Thanks for any suggestions

You may have broken a fitting or cracked the tank. Newmar doesn't figure on that happening so no need to seal the bay. Neither of our Dutch Stars was sealed to take care of a broken fitting or tank.

If the fresh water tank is filling while connected to park water you may have a leaky water pump check valve.

Thanks, the water tank doesn't fill unless I turn the "fill tank" valve. Park water system works great.
