Fresh water shut off valve handle
We just purchased a 2014 Newmar Baystar Sport and the handle to the fresh water shut off valve broke. We would like to just replace the handle and hopefully open the valve but we are having a tough time finding this handle, does anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to the forum.
That plastic handle design that Newmar used around that time frame created a lot of problems as it "rounded out' around what I'm assuming are the splines where the handle connects to the valve. I am not a Newmar owner so don't have any personal experience with the problem myself but remember that there were several threads in the Newmar Owner's Forum on it in the past (it's a good idea to ask questions that have to do with specific issues pertaining to Newmar coaches in that sub-forum as many owners hang out there and you may be able to get your questions answered more quickly).
I'm going to cite a thread which is an interesting read while you wait for others more knowledgeable than myself to respond.
Does your panel look similar to this one ... HERE?
If so, that must be the plastic handle you're referring to.
I would think the best way to solve the problem is what this member did HERE. He replaced the valve itself and then used what appears to be what Newmar did a few model years later using a plastic covered metal handle ( HERE). If you don't do that, I'm going to assume that you will continue to have a problem with that handle mis-threading or "rounding out" as you continue to use it and it will just have to be replaced again.
This thread will kind of explain the problem so you can get a better idea:
Fresh water fill valve handle
It will show the handle on the value in one of the posts and will also show the post cited above.
But let's see what the experts say.

That black plastic handle looks just like the ones that were on my 2006 Discovery. And they rounded out so the valve wouldn't turn. I looked and looked for handles, but couldn't find any, so I made some. Wasn't hard to do and they have lasted for the past 10 years now.
The pictures show the handles I made for the hot and cold low point drains. I hadn't installed the water switching handle when the picture was taken.

I went to Home Depot and found a valve that had a similar sized metal handle. Bought the valve and took the handle off and put on the MH

1/2" brass ball valves with stainless steel handles are 2 for $12 on amazon.

Thank you
Your replies are extremely helpful, thank you all! You even convinced my husband to actually ask questions (he is an engineer).
FYI, here is a picture of where the handle is located. Had to do a lot of guessing to figure this out. Not impressed with this design.
Picture is sideways

You would be surprised at the number of Engineers on this forum! What engineering discipline is he? I'm a Civil Engineer, twice retired!

Engineer
He is electrical engineer, and I value engineers, but my engineer hates to ask for help. So this has been very helpful for him to see.

That's because we engineers know everything and we don't need to ask questions! I've got an electrical engineering degree also, but I never used it. Instead I planned, designed and built roads and bridges.
I've been talking with my 18 year old granddaughter about becoming an engineer. But she said "I don't want to be like you Pop Pop, I want to be smarter and become a doctor." I don't know if I should be proud of her, or mad at her!
Feel free to ask questions on iRV2 forums. Most of us don't bite, and who knows, you may get a helpful answer that will help not only your husband but others reading it with the same problem.

That line is a 1/2” pex. If all else fails, put in a new valve from a box store and you’re done. You would have to find someone with a pex crimper or purchase one, but they’re easy to use. You would have to cut the old crimp rings.

Sharkbite valve for 1/2” Pex would be an easy fix and a higher quality valve.

Good part it's a longer valve it would get into fresh un-crimped tubing. Although almost any other valve would . OEM is about shortest I've ever seen.

I did exactly the same thing and while I was at it changed all the plastic handles on the water drain valve’s as well.
