fresh water tank losing water

I have a 34' 1999 Four winds Infinity. Water sloshes out of the fresh water gravity feed inlet whenever I turn a corner. I have replaced the inlet and hoses (which were cracked) but it still sloshes out. I suspect the vent hose which only has a screen at the end. Is there supposed to be a gate valve or some kind of valve in the vent hose? I'm sure I get people upset when I spill water on them.

I can't help you with your problem.
But I'll tell you this...you are lucky your RV has a "gravity fill inlet".
Many of us can only add water with a pressurized water hose.
